We’re calling this month ‘Socktober’ because we’re collecting new socks for Union Gospel Mission’s outreach to those living on the streets of Seattle. The rainy season is upon us and it is difficult for these people in our community to keep their feet dry and healthy. So new socks are not only welcome, but a necessity.
Bring the socks to church, or order some from Amazon for delivery, and help fill the barrel in the lobby. Last year we delivered over 500 pair to UGM during the month of October!
