Topic: "The Alpha Course", an opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each week people enjoy great food, laughter and learning in an atmosphere where no question about life is seen as too simple or too hostile ...questions like "Is there a God? Why am I here? Topic: Play group. This group will be organizing 12 relaxed, informal events designed to help you build relationships while having fun. The first six scheduled events are:
- 5/26 - Bowling night (adults only)
- 6/2 - Mariners game (children welcome)
- 6/9 - Trivia night (childcare provided)
- 6/16 - Dinner and a movie (adults only)
- 6/23 - BBQ and bocce ball at the park (children welcome)
- 6/30 - mini golf @ Interbay (children welcome)

Topic: "Service Group. We want to be a church that gives with extreme generosity and we are excited about the opportunity to serve the Ballard and the greater Seattle area. We will meet and serve together one day a week, usually on Saturday, and work on a variety of projects throughout the summer semester. Some ideas are...
- A blood drive at Westside church through the Puget Sound Blood Center
- Working for the Union Gospel Mission at the Men's shelter and the Hope Place
- A free carwash for our Westside neighbors
- Clean up the school yard at Loyal Heights Elementary School
- Feed the homeless on the streets of Seattle by partnering with the UGM Rescue Van.
- Set up/tear down for Westside's VBS on August 1 & 6.
