Did someone say Tacky Christmas Sweater Bowl? In case you’ve got no idea what that means the pictures are worth more than any words I could write describing the event. Yes, we did it. We dug through our Grandma’s closets, searched the bottoms of the thrift store piles all for that elusive prize, a sweater, that would make your great aunt Ruth think that she was back “en vogue”. We braved the laughter, the deer in the headlights stares, and crooked looks from the fellow bowlers at the sunset lanes to spread some holiday cheer and just point and laugh at one another (it’s good medicine).Congratulations to John and Amy, they were crowned the king and queen of tacky, at least for this year. The bowling wasn’t bad either. There’s something about bowling that just brings out the party animal in people, but what happens at sunset lanes, stays at sunset lanes, so next year, you’ll just have to come and see for yourself what all the fun is about!

On being crowned Queen of all things wacky and tacky I would first like to thank Value Villiage for the great out fit! I couldn’t have done it with out such a great design team! I would also like to thank my husband, John, for he let me leave the house dressed as I was! I would also like to thank Walgreens for providing the ornaments, you just have to love them! (Even if they do break after a few hours!) Saving the best for last… I would like to thank God for Westside Church the wackiest and best church out there!
I would also like to say that the clock on this comment thing is an hour ahead.. But soon it will be right, so you don’t really need to change it! I know I talk a lot….
