Faith and Perseverance

Life is a journey.  All that one will experience, see, and become along the way is a mystery. We don’t know the destination.  We simply beckon the call to go.  Abraham’s story begins with a call to go.  God instructs him to leave everything familiar and pursue that which is unknown.  The only assurance God gives him is that He will bless him as he goes.  Abraham is not perfect.  He makes plenty of mistakes.  In spite of it all, he is given the privilege of being called a friend of God.  He is known as the father of all those who have faith.
