Christmas is For-giving
Ahhh Christmas. It brings up all sorts of memories doesn't it? Too bad all of those memories are not fond ones. In fact, for many of us the last place we want to be is home for Christmas. Navigating relationships during holiday gatherings is a lot like entering a mine field. It's almost certain that someone will blow up.
Well, maybe this year in addition to the gifts that you give to family and friends, you can choose to for-give. After all Jesus insisted that unless we forgive others, God won't forgive us. Sounds harsh doesn't it? What did Jesus mean by that? Is this some sort of "hook" in the by grace you have been saved offer? Or, perhaps, Jesus was clueing us into something profound when it comes to the act of forgiveness. Join us December 6th, 13th, and 20th as we explore the subject of forgiveness this Christmas season.
